The European Film Academy revealed the nominees for the main categories of the European Film Awards 2024, and Anul Nou Care N-a Fost/The New Year That Never Came, the first fiction feature written and directed by Bogdan Mureşanu, is on the list. Film ETC and the Jacob Burns Film Center are pleased to present the 15th edition of Making Waves: New Romanian Cinema, to take place exclusively online February 18-24th, 2021.
Ten films will advance in the Live Action Short Film category for the 92nd Academy Awards. One hundred ninety-one films qualified in the category. Members of the Short Films and Feature Animation Branch vote to determine the shortlist and the nominees.
The films, listed in alphabetical order by title, are:
